Anyone know a good antique store that sells items from the World Wars? My grandfather got me interested in Miltary antiques when I was a kid and I'd like to build on my collection...

I've always kept an eye out, since a friend of mine collects WW memorabilia, and I haven't seen much. I do, however, remember seeing an antique shop somewhere over in the area of the Hofbrauhaus. They had some coins in the window with little stickers on them, and it took me a minute to realize that the stickers were there to cover swastikas. Sorry I don't have any more specific information, but if you locate this store, please let me know exactly where it is.

I've seen that shop IPJ, and apparently there is another just round the corner. I can't remember exactly where it is, maybe if you're looking at the Hof, it's at the far end of the street to the right on the corner. Eitherway, it's directly off one of the streets near the Hofbrauhaus.

Haven't seen many (Any) shops with old WW2 stuff.. But you will find tons on Ebay.. Just don't think you'll be finding anything with the Swastika on it...

The shops near Hofbrauhaus do have swastikas on the medals, knives, coins etc., but they have a sticker (like IPJ mentioned) covering the swastika so it's not visible to the casual visitor. One of my colleagues bought an Iron Cross there and that had the swastika on it.

Yeah.. good luck with that... But you can try the FleaMarket @ Studenstadt on Sat. Theres a military surplus store way in the back bldg on the 2nd floor..
Your best bets are going to be fleamarkets. People cleaning out their old famlies farm/attac love to sell this type of stuff at the Fleamarkets..
