Has anyone seen any whiffle ball bats and/or balls at sports stores in Munich? I'd love to get some to play this summer. If you don't know what whiffle ball is, check out the pictures below:

Nope.. still dunno what it is! But I presume it involves hitting a ball with a bat..

It's like a backyard/cookout version of baseball, usually with no running involved. Just pitching and hitting, then the game goes by how far you hit the ball. And it's so much fun to pitch because you can make the ball do some crazy stuff (sharp curveballs and risers!) Very relaxing and fun game!

I don't know of a place to get one here. But even better

we have a 16" softball and bats if you want to play this summer. 16" means that nobody needs a glove so an easy pick-up game.
Oh! I thought this thread was about strange sexual practises.
Sorry. Back to whifflin' yer balls

@persimmon: Sounds excellent!
@Sin: Would you like a whiff too?
Nah! I'm more a feline stroker than a ball whiffler.

Yep. I suppose it is a bit like those plastic golf balls with holes in it. You can whack the hell out of the ball and it goes about 5 yards..

Well it would be more of an American sport then wouldn't it. You would not have to drive as far in your golf carts...

Golf? Scotland.
I loved wiffle ball in my youth. Then came baseball, and then 8 years of sunday softball in the English Garden. They use to meet around 1:00, start play around 2:00 and play until it was dark, or we were all too hammerd. It right near the China Tower (handy for yet anoth beer after the game) Any present players also TTers?

I played many whiffle ball games in the past. There are even adult leagues in the states. We should try to find this equipment and have a go in the English Gardens. I can have someone bring one over!
