God, the laughs I used to have doing Karaoke at GM with TC and Johnny Pacemaker

I used to sing in GMs in 1998 with Chris Swee and Johnny Shapemaker, could it be the same person Sin? We were called the bottled blonde wife beaters on account of Chris's hair!

Can you go along just to enjoy it or do you have to sing???

I've got a mate over all weekend whose singing skills are absolutely horrendous but he'll still be well up for murdering a song with the best of them. Working on a bank holiday Monday 3 Lions??? Tough break. I'll do a rendition of Eye of The Tiger early doors so you won't miss it!!

Absolutely, remember those days well, just wish i had stayed in Munich longer than the 6 month long hot summer of '98.

Used to have 'our' corner at the end of the bar where the hatch lifts up. Chilled beer glasses on Sundays after the beer garden. Sometimes couldn't even remember doing Karaoke.

What ever happened to the local's corner... for local people?

Hahaha Angus was there in the Hofbrau haus when i got back together with the mother of my child after being apart for 2 years. This led directly to me leaving munich.

Remember the greenkeeper mafia as well, I have seen wee Chris and Wynn since I got back. But Jules, Manc Gary, and Jules' mate seem to be well gone...

Talking of the Green Mafia - Have you seen anything of American Dan lately?

Have not seen him, not sure if he is still in Munich. Wynn is now head greenkeeper at eichenried, handy, as he can get me the odd free round up there.

jules is gone. manc gary is still around. but the locals corner died a death. tore asunder by the opening of kilians. at one time everyone i knew in town would be in murphys, with Kilians opening up everyone got split up and the vibe just faded.

Would love to come out for a fun night of singing, but unfortunaltely Canada is in the finals in Ice Hockey, and I just have to be at The Arc to watch it!!!

Did we get anymore songs in last night after I left? Seemed to me that the guy filling in for Gerrold was deliberately ignoring our table. Took him half an hour to get started and then sung two songs himself before handing over to his friends next to him.

Gerrold should get a better replacement next time, this one was crap.

Yeah that dude was lame. He conveniently lost my request but I soon put him right to the detriment of the audience! Quality night. I remember some people were taking pictures - any chance of posting them?
