Hi,

I was wondering if anyone knew of a pub in Munich that might show the Carlisle stevenage coference playoffs on saturday. I really want to see this match but I guess it's not the priority for pubs to be showing a match like this on a saturday.
Augsburg_Dave
The Arc might be able to help you. I want to watch Hartlepool vs. Tranmere on Friday night and it should be ok. There is more than one screen so even if there it's not the most popular choice they could maybe put it on.

Since it is in England, I did not think that was necessary wink.gif

I'm just (positively) surprised that the Conference (i.e. 5th class) playoffs are being televised. Am I out of touch or is the Conference still fully amateur?
Wee Mun
I would say mostly semi professional, and a few professional.
Augsburg_Dave
It's about half and half these days, the quality has come along loads in the pasat 10-15 years, and now it's 2 up 2 down from the Football League.
Wibble
Should be on Sky as I noticed they were even showing one of the Conference semi's in Ned's on Friday.
Della
I'm afraid that due to my loyalty to Carlisle as my home town I am duty bound to try to watch this game, and as I don't have Sky TV I was hoping somewhere would show it. (Preferably somewhere that sells beer) laugh.gif
Wee Mun
I am sure The Arc would show this if you asked
Hazza
There may be some ice hockey on Sat night, and the entire back section is booked out, but we could at the very least show it on the smaller TV above the bar...
Della
Hey Sorry Hazza but Gunther's have agreed to show the match, so thought I'd let you know that I won't be at The Arc, so you can use your telly for some strange ice hockey or whatever.

Thanks for the offer though,
Augsburg_Dave
Best of luck to the sheep interferers!

Enjoyed a few good days out in Carlisle over the years, guaranteed win and all! tongue.gif

Have to resort to listening to our game over the internet tonight, got too much to do and can't squeeze a Munich trip in. mad.gif
