Allergist doctor recommendations

Hi!
I am starting to suffer the spring effects and I need urgently an allergist to shot my vaccination (that I have from Spain). I would love that he/she understand me, so it would be great if he/she speaks English (or Spanish).
Any suggestion around Schwabing ?

I see an allergist in Haidhausen who speaks English. Though, to be honest, I'm thinking of looking for someone else, because I keep seeing these "extra" charges on my bills, when all he really is doing is giving me a monthly shot. Anyway, PM me if you want his info.

Try Dr. Bieger, Bayerstr. 53, 089-5432170 he does all the allergy test for our office, not sure about the english, but you could always ask.

I did a search on TT for recommended allergists, but not much came up. I have had congestion in my lungs and coughs that wake me up at night for the past few months. It seems to be an on and off thing that has been occuring for the last year or so. I don't smoke and really try to stay away from second-hand smoke. It would be nice to find an English speaking doctor that could check for any allergies I might have. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Wondering if anyone has experience with a good English speaking allergist or pediatrician who specializes in allergies here in Munich. My (almost) two-year-old has been breaking out in hives for about four weeks now. They come and go and I have not been able to determine the cause but suspect some allergy. Strangely they are isolated to her arms and legs and occasionally her cheeks and chin, but not her torso or diaper areas which leads me to believe it is something she is coming in physical contact with since her clothes usually cover the areas that don’t manifest a reaction. Our own pediatrician has been attentive and she prescribed and antihistamine which works to control the hives but then they come back. She has also prescribed cortisone but I am hesitant to start administering a steroid to a young child without looking for alternatives first. I would really like to determine the source of the problem if possible. I would prefer minimally invasive tests as well.
I have searched Toytown and did come across the thread on “eczema treatments for children� and one allergist recommendation.

He's German, though. I don't know how good his English is, because I've only ever spoken to him in German. Might be worth a try.

Hi, my baby has had serious skin problems (no allergy, but I've just spent one month going from one doctor to the next...) and the pediatrician recommended Dr. Abeck. He's a very well-known dermatologist and worked at the Hautklinik. Also, at the Hautklinik there are many good doctors specialised in allergology.
If you want a less interventionist treatment (and you believe in homeopathy), Dr. Dorcsi is a pediatrician who works with homeopathy.

You could try a kinesiologist. Mine is Dr Weigl in Gern but can't find his info right now. He should be able to find out what the cause and cure is.

There is a specialist dermatology and allergy clinic in Germany, fortunately in Munich, and part of the University. It is run by an apparently well respected (in Germany and Switzerland) Prof Ring. My normal allergy doctor and GP doctor recommended I go there as they didn't know what my problem was. The doctors at the clinic knew my problem as soon as they saw me!!

It's called Biederstein at Biedersteiner Str 29 next to the English Garden. They have a normal daily consultancy.

I had moxa treatment which cured my allergies. my doctor speaks English German and Japanese.
