Floatation in a warm water tank

I just remembered TT doing an article about desensory tank things a while ago. You know, the water tanks you get put into where all your senses are sort of turned off. Fancy trying them out but can't remember where they were. Anyone remember?

Typed the word 'tank' into the search field and got this: Float - Sensory Deprivation

So has anyone used these before?
Do you get really bored?
UrbanAngel
I've been in the place, but not in the tank.
Apparently it's not boring at all.

Do they have Playstations in there?

id love to try it out but im afraid id feel clausterphobic and freak out... if I bang on the door can they hear me and if so will they let me out? or will they sit around like evil cat stroking midgets laughing at my pain.

Remember what happened to Edina after just a short while in the iso-tank kids!

I have been in one once. It was kinda like being in a warm bath with the bathroom door shut and the light out.

No hang on...

It was EXACTLY like being in a warm bath with the bathroom door shut and the light out.

Save your hard-earned wonga for the good things in life people - like beer and curry. You can float in the bath at home.
