Commuting Augsburg - Munich on weekdays

Question. Anyone have experience in commuting weekdays from Augsburg to Munich? What is the best way to do it? The most economical? So far I´ve been quoted around €200 per month...

I have two work colleagues who commute from Augsberg, one with the train and thinks it's the best thing ever and one who drives and complains all the time about the traffic and the traffic jams...
Not sure who pays more though.

I have several colleagues who live in Augsburg and they all use the train. I can't quote any prices though.

I thought you had to get to Freising, Lupo?

Definitely train! Do not drive, do not pass odels/adelshausen and do not collect 200hours stau!

Ahh the A8! Know it too well unfortunately. BTW if driving richtung Augsburg from the airport, I highly suggest a shortcut through Dachau (vice going further South to Munich only to turn back North ont he A8.)

Thanks for the tips, especially grtho´s, that might just be my ticket. Here´s the deal, as of Sept I will be in Munich proper (i.e. not Freising) every day. Just looking at the possibilities of where to put up my hat!
