"Fücker" is quite a common name in Germany; check out these Google results.
Batman509

Took this in 2005 in Switzerland.:

Hope nobody's offended by this, it might be seen as a bit strong, but this place really exists, I really took this photo. It's down near Chur in der Schweiz.

I noticed the talk earlier in this thread about the town of Fucking in Austria.

Here's Graham Norton with guest Roseanne Barr making a crank call to the Austrian tourist board about visiting Fucking ... "Is there a Fucking hotel?" ... "Is Fucking good in Winter?" ... much hilarity...

HellesAngel
Near my place there's Werinherstr which I struggle to say without it sounding like 'we're in her street' and imagining a scene in a gang bang porno.

My flatmates boyf just got a job in Bubikon in Switz.

The Fuggers were a historically prominent group of European bankers. The Fuggerei, founded by "Jacob Fugger the Rich" is a walled enclave within the city of Augsburg. The Fuggers had their own Fuggerschloss in Kirchheim. Well, fugg me.

The head of the family was a matriarchal woman, named Mudder, and was quite a nasty woman. I think the locals took great joy when referring to her as Mudderfugger laugh.gif

I thought it was pinkeln.

Pinkeln is generally understood throughout Germany, pieseln/bieseln is more South German. Leo on the subject

Stumbled over this map.

Fribble
Not nearly as racy as the others, but every time I see the Wormland store in Hamburg, I giggle. The city of Worms was not quite as comical for me, for no particular reason.
JerseyBoy
Fook me...

I grew up in New Jersey, and never realized Philadelphia is so close to Poland...

Has anyone noticed, there is a mountain in the Austrian Alps called "Wank"?

My favourite "linguistic double entendre" here in Germany has to be the street in Johanneskirchen called: Fürkhofstrasse.

I really should grow up.

Lol!! I've been there!! When i visited Bavaria to see Neuschwanstein and Hohenschwangau!

Don't worry about growing up, i'm adult enough to have taken a picture of the sign! Proof for all you non-believers! biggrin.gif

Has anyone mentioned Sinning yet? It's between Munich and Neuburg a. d. Donau (I think it's burg, not berg. I'm still learning my way around)

Now, if I could just remember the one that made me laugh so much on my drive back from up north this weekend...

Yer, i used to live near a place called Wankum.

Have also eaten something called a "nippon" which is just basically sugar puffs covered in chocolate. Buy them at Lidl or Plus i think.

I live in Am Anger! It means "On the village green" if you're interested, which you're probably not!
Neandertaler
There is a small village here in Schleswig-Holstein by the name of Wankendorf which cracked me up the first time I saw it and nearby where we live is the small town of Leck which apparently almost requires a fulltime employee to clean off the frequent additions made to the Ortschilder, namely "mich am Arsch".

Kuss-Tour erfolgreich beendet

Lucky Wanke.

my local bus stop is hofackerstrasse which even after three years still gives me a giggle
when the automated voice on the bus calls it out.

We drove through Wankum once.
William
Drive-by wanking, haven't heard of that before!
MunichMag
My colleagues phone was rang this morning and he wasn't in the office so I picked up and the guy at the other end says "Wank, BMW hier". I resisted the temptation to tell him to try an Audi or Mecedes instead then.

While looking at the Google Map link provided in the other thread, I stumbled upon this part of Munich, near to the airport, called 'Attaching'.

ROFL, I did not even know most of those places exist.
