Inline skating courses

Any recommendations?

So I have bought myself a nice new shiny pair of skates but havent been skating for a few years so a wee bit rusty. Thinking about doing a course to brush up on the basics before I hit the streets (literally no doubt!!) but was wondering if anyone had already done a course and/or had any recommendations?

Cheers!

Hi,
I can highly recommend the course around the castle in Oberschleißheim. Takes about 40min (untrained sports hater speed), nearly no cars and if, they go slow because there are skaters/bikes/runners everywhere. Best part: Schloßbiergarten against dehydration smile.gif

try this link, put in Munich in the left-hand option field and it shows you all the courses being run. There si one sponsored by K2 and ADAC for €25 which is apparently the most popular.

Otherwise SWM has linked up to sponsor courses at the Prinzregentenstadion, "Prinze 4skaters" on the same link.

I did one at the airport 2 years ago, it was great, but I'd have to find the details...
Theresienwiese is also good for practicing, nice and flat, quiet, with an optional slope to try out braking...

@ JB - cool thanks - will check out those out.

@ kati - once I have found my feet sounds like a good place to practice - cheers!
