Salsa dancing - classes and meetups - Munich

hi folks,
I am new in Munich and wanna go Salsa dancing!
Is anyone interested to join me? Perhaps we can form a group and go together and try out some new places.

There is a Salsa thread on Toytown somewhere, but can't find at at the moment. I would like to join provided there are a few of the "over-thirties" going to. I did a number of courses here and gave up for lack of a partner. A group's fun. But where's that other thread gone?

I'd be interested in going Salsa dancing! Getting out of practice already! Palacio is great on Sat. evenings - what about this Sat. 21st?? Any takers?

madgibson Sure! But Palacio starts late - guess not befor 10 pm? Fine by me for this Sat. But we need some guys. Also over 30? Want to start a thread for Sat. with time etc.? This Sat. is too short notice, but maybe sometime we could do an overthirties meal with Salsa dancing to follow - then the men would be a captive, but active audience. Just an idea.

Sorry Nicky, been busy at work so didn't have time to post properly for this Sat. Will definitely do it another time though - your idea about going after an over 30's dinner is good

@madgibson Great! I'll check the calendar and suggest a date for a meal in a couple of weeks followed by Palacio instead of coffee. Bring some rope and handcuffs along to make sure we get a few men - or shall we lace their drinks? Or is alcohol enough on its own?

I've just arrived in Munich from Singapore, where there is a rather lively salsa scene. I've read the past posts, however most of the websites referred to are in German. Does anyone here have a place that they would recommend for beginners lessons (without having a partner)?
