Anyone know if theres any shooting ranges in munich? Ones where they supply guns and ammo for non-gun-owners?

I heard that theres one from the old Olympic Games but I dont know if its only used for proper events or not.

I have googled a bit, but havent come up with anything yet.

Would anyone be interested in a bit of target practice or even some clay bird shooting if they have that?

I believe you would have to become a member. It is out here in my neighborhood on the way to Unterschleißheim just over the bridge. It is a very nice place. We hosted a seminar there once in the restaurant.

It is called the Olympia Schutzanlage or something along those lines.

SHOOTING RANGE WITH RAMBO
A great adrenaline rush! Learn to shoot 4 types of pistol, including a 9mm Browning and a Glock .45. Fire 10 rounds on each with a fully-qualified English-speaking instructor in a range in the centre of Prague. Prague Piss-Up group's also can benefit from a special deal, which allows you to hire a pump-action shotgun and fire rubber bullets at your mates. The shooting lasts on average about an hour for a group of 10 and the price includes guns, bullets, transport and instruction from one of the country's top instructors (don't be put off by his appearance, he dresses like Rambo and wears bottle-top glasses). The pump-action shotgun is extra and is offered by the instructor once he has assessed your mental state - so leave the Rambo costume at home.
Price with package: £29, $55 or €41
Price without package: £35, $50 or €50

Try CitySports

If you are used to / expect to shoot "human shaped" targets you won't be allowed, since it is illegal here. As far as I know that is also the reason you can't paintball.

Hi,

As well as looking for that martial arts place as i posted before, I am also looking for a shooting club to get started in rifle shooting. Does anyone know of any clubs and how they work in terms of borrowing or rentiong guns and tuition...

Thanks,

Anton

well, the Olympic shooting range is up in Unterschleissheim, that might be a good place to start.
