Paris Hilton was in Munich again yesterday. It was a flying visit to check in with GoYellow, one of the companies she does publicity for.

She bought three Dirndls from Loden Frey. I say "bought". Actually the store gave them to her. As if she needs charity!

According to the AZ they were Dirndls worth €2,000, €1,000, and €450.

Someone told me she gets around a bit, this must have been what he meant.

God, some people have more than enough money and then stores 'give' them stuff! Like any of the stars at the Oscars buy their dresses and jewlery? No, its all borrowed or given to the them!

It's all about publicity.

Media outlets such as the AZ and TT publish the story that Loden Frey gave away their products.

Readers then go, "Oh my God, it's not like she needs the charity".

And as a result Loden Frey is imprinting themselves on your brain. They hope that this will increase the likelihood of you shopping and buying one of the Dirndls yourself.

So by making the post that I did above, I am but a slave to the Paris Hilton / Loden Frey publicity machine.

It makes me think: 'Loden Frey must be charging too much for their clothes if they can afford expensive giveaways. I think I'll buy my, uh, Dirndl from C&A'.
