So because I don't buy newspapers I don't have a TV guide. But I'd like to know how I could find out when very important life changing things are on the TV, like AC Milan v PSV Eindhoven on Tuesday at 8:45pm, will this be on the TV or do I have to go to a bar to see it.

What channels typically show football matches ? DSF ? RTL II ?

Cheers !

Hi TT'ers,

I found this site that gives you all the TV listings in Germany together on one site.

Hope it's useful

I found it difficult to get a good online TV guide for freesat English TV. I found this one which I like, so decided to post it here.

ITV have a decent one too (not just ITV), although it's a bit clunky for setting up your channels.

TVBrowser is a downloadable and free (Open Source) application which loads listings onto your PC (or Mac or Linux box) and allows you to view, review, search or print channel and programme detail for the coffee table. A major advantage is that you can simultaneously download/view channels from different countries - e.g. BOTH Germany and UK. It even takes into account the time differences and displays programme times in your local timezone. Additional information Online TV listings and programme guide. It's not quite in the same class as Digiguide which does very much the same and more, but costs money and can't handle foreign channels so easily.

Although not available to us in Germany for watching online, the TV Catchup Guide is great for checking out what is on FTA.
