Showem closing in on 3000 posts barrier

I just saw that she is approaching the magic mark. The first TTer to do so.

I am twisting and turning in my chair like an eel. I am biting my nails with anticipation and tension.

Will she? will she not? when will she do it? how will she do it? will I be able to witness the moment? What if I miss it (oh heaven forbid such a thing ever happened) will there be music? baloons? party hats? noise-makers? What does Editor Bob have in store for her? what if she suddenly disappeared on 2999 (oh please, I shudder at the thought)?

So many unanswered questions. So much suspence. So much drama.

So close yet it seems so far. Will she do it? Will she do it?

There was only one ever record I paid attention to and that was top poster. Keydeck and I shook hands to celebrate it, shook our heads at the fact we were celebrating it, and then moved onto other things.

If Misc posts counted, I'm sure there would be several people ahead of me in post totals.

It will get interesting again when someone else starts to challenge for the Top Poster spot.

At an average of 7 posts a day OG is looking like a good candidate for top poster ever. I fear Showem's title is one that's soon to be lost. I'm sure she's well upset too.

Averaging 7 posts a day!!! Wow. Major contender for the title later on down the line. But will have to work hard to keep that level of posting.
interplanetjanet has another high posting average at 4.4 per day. Doing well and if she keeps up those slagging matches then she could easily be a Top poster contender.
But I reckon that Katrina will grab the title for a while at least.

I know someone who has 4.9 posts per day!
But they are usually 1 or max 2 liners...
