If anyone here has been to see Cats yet please tell me if it's performed in the original language, or if some well-intentioned idiot translated it into a language that cannot be sung? I'm interested in getting tickets, but only if it is performed in the original english.

Well I thought it is no longer showing on Broadway so I guess it will have to be in German? Hee-hee.
It must be in German. After all on the posters it says "Cats. Das Original aus Hamburg."

The words "in deutscher Sprache" on the website sorta give it away too
Probably German - most of them are! However, Mamma Mia is coming in Sept./Oct. in original english language
