I know that I can tranfer my jobseekers allowance to Germany and continue to receive it for 3 months. What happens if the 3 months are up and I still havent found a job? Can I tranfer to the German system and be elligible for ALG II or will I get sweet FA?

I think it's jobseeker's benefit not allowance you can transfer.
After the 3 months the German government is not obliged to pay you anything, unless you are a German citizen.

I think you have to go back home if you haven't found anything after 3 months. Will see if I can find the docs.

correct: your job-seekers allowance is only paid out to you for 3 month to go abroad in order to find a job there. If don't find one during this time you are supposed to go back and either continue to receive what allowance you have at home or move to whatother welfare system are available to you in your country of original residence. You can not switch to German system without having paid into it before for at least 12 month or so...
When you think of it, it makes all sense, otherwise people would be invited to hop around in EU countries and extend their alowances to kingdom come - besides the fact that all EU countries have different way and means of collecting for their welfare systems (taxes in the UK vs direct contributions like in GBermany) and thus also different durations with regards to how long you can claims such allowances. When you move to Germany, your UK allowance is basically transfered to here (and you also only get what oyu would get at home and not the German allowance, regardless if that would be higher or lower).

Won't bother looking for the docs then
They do apparently deport people who they think are messing about so it's best to go by the book.

By the way, it's only the Contributions-Based JSA that you can transfer, not the Income-Based.
