What happened to Uncle Jamal?

I have sent a message to Editor Bob, but thought I would post here in case this has happened to anyone else.

After being a member for nearly 7 years, today when I tried to log on I found that my account had been deleted. And just as I am having a furniture sale - most inconvenient!

Anyway - please shed some light someone, if possible. The Former UJ isn't how I wish to be known if it can be at all helped.

The forum went down for about a half hour this afternoon -- maybe it's connected to that? I've reported the missing persons to the authorities. Anyone else gone?

He's indeed disappeared. I found a post that he made and all evidence that it was Uncle Jamal has disappeared.

Well UJ just registered himself again so that he could post. Seems a pretty obvious solution to me.

Interestingly, the names of the missing people seem to have disappeared from their posts as well.

There's something else happening as well. When I try to report user gromm for putting spam onto just about every thread, it sends the report, I think, but then I get a blank screen!

This is preposterous! Uncle Jamal is one of the TT elder statesmen. He should be wheeled in front of all and sundry with medals on his chest for all to praise.

As one TT elder stateman to another I salute you and hope you get your bloody username back. Don't want you doing a "Prince". "The TTer formerly known as Uncle Jamal". Putting up a silly symbol would be a headache for our team up above.

She hasn't completely vanished. If you click on "MultiQuote" below an anonymous post, and then "Add reply", the reply window comes up with the username of the poster being quoted.
