Winter gear in Rostock

Hey guys,

Just wondering if anbody knew offand (I don't want anybody to start looking it up on the net or anything for me)a good shop to get wellies, gloves, and all-weather waterproof trousers (those light ones which cover your regular ones) in Rostock? Like I said, if anybody knows already from their experience. I loved the snow today, but my sneakers are not going to hack it in this snow, and wellies or something similar are needed urgently, and gloves and all-weather pants are too.

have you checked tkmaxx yet? aside from a coat, i got two pairs of boots: fancy rainboots for 35 euros and fancy dressy leather boots for 43 euros. a male friend also got a coat, boots, camping equipment, long underwear, gloves and other things.
also on langestrasse theres two outdoorsy shops.
i can only speak of stores downtown, where i am staying.

ok, I tried out tkmaxx last week and got a good winter coat for 70euro. I didn't see wellies or gloves but wasn't looking for them. Cool, I'll have a look, thanks.

try on the internet, you may have more success. I am not sure what wellies are. Gloves you can find everywhere, just depends on what you want.

wellies are wellington boots. rain boots. i think they still have some at tkmaxx, but there's a bunch of other stores on kropeliner strasse that have them.

and yes, snow, a big surprise. especially since it really accumulated. although it has now mostly melted and is now raining.

there's a large shoe store at the end of kropeliner str at the tor, on the corner. i think i also saw wellies there.

on kroepiliner strasse tkmaxx and schuhbude (i think that's what it's called) both sell winter shoes - waterproof. Clarks is also on the street and could be a good place to check out for winter shoes.

tkmaxx, c&a both sell winter gloves. It depends on what u are looking for but there are some ski gloves (better quality) for higher prices in tkmaxx.

tkmaxx also does waterproof rainpants, though the selection is limited.

wellies can be got in shops along the street.
