As some of you probably know, tickets for Revenge of the Sith go on sale this afternoon. The premiere itself is Wednesday, May 18 at 8:00 pm. I was peddling past Cinema just now, and there was about 20 or so people in line, what looked mainly like nerdish (not super nerds, but a bit nerdy) German university students. I went up to the front of the line and asked when they started waiting. The first ones started lining up last night at 5:30pm. There was a tent there as well, so at least one hard bugger slept out on the pavement on a very cold night to get tickets. Hope that their wait is worth it.
As there was only about 20 people in line and they can only buy 4 tickets max, so if you are really a fan and want to go to the premiere, you still have a good chance.

Idiots. Do they not remember parts 1&2? They weren't even worth the price of a DVD rental let alone queueing up for in advance. Plus "Titanic in space"!!! That really set heart racing in anticipation.

Yeah, I'd like to see it, but I'll wait until all the nerdy-nerds have had their turn. Don't need to queue up to see it before anyone else, that's for sure.

I think the second one is the most unwatchable movie I have ever seen!

Yeah, but I'm still going to see it. Not willing to lie outside on the ground for tickets, but I'm still going to see it in the theater. I bet you will too.

I do indeed plan on seeing this and am looking forward to it.
I'm not quite sure how a movie which has in fact been seen qualifies as having been unwatchable, though perhaps I'm being a bit pedantic.

Well, most of the previews I have seen for this film, seem to indicate this will be much better than the first two, although nothing is certain. Although I will watch this film, probably not for the first week or so, let the crowds die down.
I got an email from Cinema on Monday telling me that tickets would be on sale this week.

And the nominations for the worst screen play of all time are:
Star Wars 1: Script Revenge of the Lucas
Star Wars 2: The fucking illiterate Lucas strikes back
Star Wars 3: Revenge of the sick- minded jerk who funded this poorly written drivel
And the winner is...
All of them!!!
Lucas should have retired after the original Star Wars- discuss.

Closer to the date, maybe.
Maybe will ask Kat or Katrina for help too, I'm too new in Munich -- don't even know the way to the Cinema yet!
