Hello TT,
I would just like to ask how much salary would a Technical Support Engineer expect.
I am thinking of 3300€ per month (Brutto). Times 12 would be 39,600€ per year.
My Experience:
- Software Engineer C++: 2 years
- Software Test Engineer - Security Software: 7 months (my current job, responsibility includes technical support to end users)
My Target Job:
- Technical Support Engineer
- International Company (big company, product includes desktop and laptop hardware etc)
- End-User Support
- Server Maintainance
- On-call after office hours
- Occasional travelling within Europe to support remote customers
Thank you very much!

I think thats a little high, but not impossible.
I'm a network engineer with 5 years experience and make less than that. Plus, I dont see that you have any desktop support, server, or hardware experience.
I would think more like 2800 would be more likely.

Thanks for your response Bobby.
I am surprised that you make less than 3300€ with your 5 years experience.
Actually, my current job includes desktop support (mostly remote customers) and server-client software testing.
Anyway, 2800€ is also okay (as minimum ).

40K with 2 year experience is just like starting range in Munich ( Salaries vary from region to region as well).
If you feel being strong candidate with the company and they are convinced that you are the guy they should hire, I think you can bargain for some more. I would not be surprised if they agree to give you 45K.
