A photographic exhibition showing for every artist taking part to, 4 self-portraits based on the parallelism between lunar phases/woman’s ages/menstrual cycle/the 4 seasons.

The Four Seasons, in women and in nature, are:

°°° Spring: the beautiful innocent girl, the energy of renewal and inspiration, the increasing moon and the pre-ovulatory phase of a woman; this phase is identified with the “Virgin”.

°°° Summer: the full moon is represented by the energy of fecundity, it’s the phase of development and ovulation; here identified by the image of the “Mother”.

°°° Autumn: the decreasing moon indicates the withdrawal of energy, the release of an ovule that, if not fecundated, opens the way to that creativity unconnected from reproduction. This is the phase of the “Enchantress”, or an image of a sexually powerful woman who possesses a deep seductive power.

°°°Winter: a period of destruction and transformation, an “obscure” phase corresponding to the black moon, the menstrual phase, the “Witch”.

At the Vernissage and Finissage there will be performances by Alice Masprone, Fenia Kostopoulou and Lili Refrain
