Bassist wanted for tribute to The Jam - Munich

Gauging interest

the_cat
Guitarist (English) and Drummer (German) looking for a highly-competent bass player to play and sing Foxton's parts in a Jam tribute band. The idea is to rehearse up, and eventually get paid bookings both in Munich and then hopefully around Germany. I'm not sure what the interest would be like for this sort of thing, so, it's ok to take it slow, and have a little fun along the way. I have a Proberaum already with my other band in Fraunhoferstrasse which has pretty much all the equipment needed. I would prefer experienced players as both myself and the drummer have played and gigged in a number of bands, but don't let that put you off... if you think you can do the job and are enthusiastic and competent then those are two bug plusses.

So, any budding Foxtons out there please post up or PM me!

Thanks,
Dave

do you have to look like death warmed up?
the_cat
Yes! Pocky-faced, bog-brush haircutted wanabees are more than welcome. The only discrimination is that you are not an absolute beginner (oh hell, what have I just said...)

Are you harbouring secret bass skills that you want to share with the forum Gordon?

Also, if people want to post up song suggestions, I would be interested to know which songs are people's particular favourites.

Thanks Mr Moron. That's a pretty comprehensive list to go on. I actually have a live concert from 1980 that has nearly all those songs on it. If you want me to post it up for you then PM me.

if it's an official release, I'll already have it
