Indoor Archery in Eching - Munich

Hi.
For those that are interested in Indoor Archery, We have just opened (Nov 1 2009) an indoor Archery facility in Eching (Border Munich North/Freising South). As keen shooters ourselves, we found very few Winter Shooting arrangements, so we created one. The location is "Sherwood Forest" in the Riemensburger Halle in Eching. To get there use the S1 to Eching Station and then we will pick you up. It is planned to have the hall open from 17:00 each weekday evening (by request we can open for half a day), and All day Weekends.
We only allow traditional Archery, ie Flat bows, Recurves, Longbows and wooden arrows max 40 lbs. As we wish to keep this on a traditionall basis we are excluding all compound bows and hitech arrows. At present there is one target set at 17 Meters, by the end of the week there will be 2 additional targets set at 10 meters (for beginners) and 20 Meters. We are also planning to set up 3D targets.

A bar is included serving prosecco, pils and coffee. It will be open to all, including beginners (Need to bring your own bows, bows can be hired for the day). We can also offer group shooting, if you wish to be there for half a day, or a complete day with a group, society or company.

Sounds interesting. You mention beginners - will there be tuition for those who want to learn?

Can you please post prices? (renting a bow, lessons, arrows, facility per hour) ?

To Greenteas question, yes there will be tuition including insafety. The planned prices are 5 Euros for a sessions shooting (up to 4 hours per session), Bows can be hired from us at 5 Euros per session. Arrows are included, however for, each arrow that is broken there will be a charge for 4 Euros to replace.

On Sunday we are haveing an Archery Breakfast, there will be Coffee and Home made cake (I will even try and make some mince pies if I have time)

Start is 11am through till 3pm (longer if there is enough demand.) If enough people register then we will also provide a Buffet Lunch. (Need a minimum of 10 people)
