Indoor playgrounds in Nuremberg

I'm just setting off for 4 days in Nuremberg with my 4 and 6 year old boys.

Are there any good indoor playgrounds? The weather forecast is pretty poor and once we've done the train museum and IMAX I'm running a little short of wet weather activities.

Playmobil funland looks to be my best option? Is there anywhere in the city itself?

Nearer the airport than the city centre, but enough there to spend a day (or most of it).

(Is it just me being a tight-arse, or are German "ball pools" very expensive in comparison to the UK?)

City centre wise, there's also Turm der Sinne ( http://www.turmdersinne.de/index.html ), but your lads might be a tad young for that (for an extended period anyway) and the Spielzeugmuseum ( http://www.museen.nuernberg.de/spielzeugmuseum/index.html )

Last edit: okay, it's in Zirndorf, but Playmobil FunPark is very well done and not so much of a rip-off as other similar places. The food is decent and decent value too.

Check this : Schloss Thurn Erlebnispark

This is close to Erlangen (not so far from Playmobil that you are talking about).

Other options:
1) Tiergarten Nurnberg
2) Kindertheatre
3) Kindermuseum

Schloss Thurn is good for kids that age, but would be rubbish on a wet day. Can't remember a single thing that was indoors.

Wheels a-turning very shortly. Looks like there is a good deal to keep them entertained. They're really excited about the train museum but I fear it will only hold their attention a short while once we get there...

Couldn't get them out of the train museum. We arrived at 10. Went out for an hour for lunch and then got kicked out at 5. That indoor playarea is pretty well perfect for two little boys of their age. Found the room where you can watch a train journey a little late otherwise I may have spent the afternoon sleeping in there.

What a beautiful city. Only 1 more full day so should be easy to entertain them but we will be back for sure. Awesome youth hostel as well.
