Hello,
new comer in Frankfurt and i 'm looking for a good Hi-Fi shop in order to built my new Home Cinema system. I only found Media Markt and Saturn but you can't test the products there, before you buy them!!
I don't believe a city like this not to have a serious hi-fi shop. Must be somewhere.
If somebody knows something, please inform me.
Thx.

Have you tried "Die Hifi Profis" at Eschenheimer Tor? hifiprofis.de is their website.

Agree with CT on Die Hifi Profis - but just how "serious" do you want your set up to be? If it's "20,000€ for a Macintosh Power Amp"-serious, then you need to head to the audiophile Mecca that is
Raum Ton Kunst in the arcade close to the Kleinmarkthalle. You might even see me drooling at the goodies therein (sadly, only from
outside the shop).

thx for your help guys...
i will try them as soon as possible and i 'll let you know.
What have in mind is a shop with 'show room' where you can test (listen to, see, etc) your favourite setup and few more varieties, BEFORE you buy it.
Do i ask for much? In other countries (even in other cities in Germany) this is very common and a 'must' for each serious Hi-Fi shop.
Well, we shall see...

Hi again,
just for your information and while i was looking for a Hi-Fi shop in Frankfurt, i found a pretty new company, specialized on exactly this part of business: hi-fi systems.
It is called High-End Studios (
www.highendstudios.de) and everyone who is looking for special hi-fi and home cinema systems must visit it.
Thx again for your help.
