we are are family of 5 and we moved to Ettlingen near Karlsruhe in Summer of 2009. We are a mix of German and US citizens. We lived in Calgary, Alberta, Canada for the last 3 years and and also in Milwaukee, WI prior to this. We have two girls (11 and 13) and one boy (8). All of them are fluent in both languages.
