Are there any Delta Gammas in the area? Would love to meet up.

Does that mean 'do you swing both ways'?

TeKE here and ignore the GDIs.

I'm a Tri-Sigma and haven't run across any DGs that I know of. I know of a Chi Omega though (not that that helps you at all). I'll keep my ears open though!

I own a DG-808c - is that what you are looking for?

Hilarious. It seems so random, who is accepted to what frat/sorority, which often depends on the rep of that particular chapter at a particular college. Are you sure that DGs from elsewhere are the sort of people you want to know? Why would being from one particular frat/sorority make one different from another? Do you want to sing the particular old song, or do you just want to chat about the glory days of college frat/soro parties? Or...is being a DG going to get you a job you wouldn't otherwise have access to?

I just remember the dress up days of gaggles of girls/guys walking/stumbling from house to house. They all seemed to look alike, so I can't imagine that one frat/sorority would be that different from another.

That said, my bro is part of a fraternity, and sees the guys from his PARTICULAR frat, not from his frat nationwide. I guess it was fun, but I can't imagine you are thrown in with a lot substantially different from the lot you'd be thrown into in a dorm.

Ah well, good luck finding your DGs. I was just commenting that from the outside, one frat/sorority looked like another.

Oops. Fingernails too long. Accidental second post.

@ mandi2doors- Thank you.

@ funf- You are right that being at a particular college or university does make you partial to the sororities offered at that institution. Again, you are right that at times having that extended network does allow you to have access to an interview or job that you may not have heard of otherwise. You may not always like everyone in your sorority in college or those you meet after but you know that at some point in their life they made the same commitment to the organization you did. Not all sororities were partying and singing all the time. Unlike your brother, I have met and remained friends with many DGs across the world from different institutions. I would have met them anyway but there is an additional connection, like being from the same hometown or college.

I just threw up a little in my mouth. Though I guess you're in the right Bundesland.

although I was a staunch GDI back in my college days in 19mumblesomething, I recall from being a pizza guy that I *really* liked delivering to the tri-delts for some reason(s)...
