Unique Prog-Rock-Fusion Band Seeks Lead Guitarist - Berlin

We are serious professional classically-trained musicians who have come all the way from Canada to re-form our band in Berlin and start touring around Europe as soon as possible. We have released two EPs so far and our music has been played on independent radio stations all over the world.

Our main goal at the moment is a short tour in February 2010. We have all the resources to make this happen... except a guitarist!

We are seeking players who:
-Have excellent chops - sightreading ability is an asset
-Are willing and able to sing in tune (some of the songs have thick vocal harmonies)
-Are between 21 and 35 years old
-Love this style of music!
-Can commit to learning their parts solidly in advance and attending at least one rehearsal a week (more if there's a show/tour coming up)
-Are professional, reliable, punctual, and easy to work with - no flakes or divas, bitte.
-Are willing to work as part of a team - creative input is welcome, so long as it fits the band's vision

Auditions will be held SATURDAY, 7 NOVEMBER from 2-4pm at Noisy Rooms - Warschauerstrasse 70a, Berlin

*AUDITION SONGS: "Eye of the Day" and "Marionette" (both can be heard on our MySpace page - http://myspace.com/lifebelongstotheliving - please let us know if you'd like mp3s emailed to you)
--> Please note: It is expected that both songs will be memorized and played note for note. Please bring whatever pedals you need to replicate the effects used in the recordings.
