I have a specification for a motor/generator for a prototype vertical axis wind turbine thats is required by a partner who is too busy to source it himself.

Engineering really isn't my field of knowledge so I need to find some way of finding the part here in Germany. Are there any trade organisations who could help me find such a thing?

In case anybody reading this should happen to know a more direct starting point, this is the requirement:

1. Design maximum power shall be 1,25 kW at 350 RPM
2. Maximum overspeed shall be 430 RPM for 5 minutes without damage
3. Power generation shall be 1900 kWh per year
4. 3 phase, high efficiency, asynchronous motor required.
5. Brushless motor generator required.
6. No gearbox shall be used.
7. Permanent magnet type with slewed magnets to eliminate cogging
8. Stator location on shaft or casing to be optimised
9. Height to diameter ratio to be optimised
10. The system is to have a maintenance free life of 30 years.
11. Operation in abrasive sand (desert regions) and salt spray (marine) environments shall be required.
12. Minimum operating environment temperature requirement shall be -40°C
13. Maximum operating environment temperature requirement shall be +50°C
14. Design shall minimise cost as far as possible.
15. Heat rejection shall be achieved without internal airflow if possible.
16. Maximum braking current 100 Ampere.
17. Generator input 0-280 Volt AC, 0-12 Ampere.
