Daily limits on giving out reputation points

When does the TT system clock tick over from one day to the next?

The reason I ask is that prior to midnight, the system informed me that I had used my quota of negative and positive rep points for the day, but here we are almost an hour after midnight and it still gives me the same message.

I'm guessing and I assume everyone has a quota. When that quota is used up then the 24hr thing kicks in from when you last used it.

The system clock is set to the current time in Germany. Right now that would be CET.

As for reputation quota, I haven't checked but it is probably a rolling 24 hour period.

As EB mentioned somewhere, it's a rolling 24-hour period, just like daily post counts.

What is the limit of pos and neg votes permitted in this rolling 24-hour period?

Looks like I'm going to have to save up and distribute them all at once at the end of a day.

Ordinary members can give out up to 10 green and 10 red points per 24 hour period.

Paid-up supporters can give out up to 100 green and 100 red.

Moderators up to 1,000 green and 1,000 red.
