Hi
I would need a big favour. My husband and me live in munich. he is a brewer and wants to order some brewstuff from the usa. The seller told us that the shipping costs to germany are enormous. But if he shipped it to a military base it would be much cheaper. So can anyone help us???
We would really appreciate that.
Thanks Stephanie

You would have to pick it up in Garmisch, add the gas and car wear costs to the delivery costs.

That would be fine for me. Do you know anyone? I will also call the guy in the USA today and let him confirm that it is really cheaper to send it to a german military base

It's definitely cheaper, but good luck finding a stranger on a military base willing to accept an unknown package. Not to rain on your parade, but I definitely wouldn't do that.

I don't know many people who would be willing to help friends out for things like that. And a stranger? No way. See
The U.S. Army post office in Stuttgart. Civilians can't use the services. Pay for the extra shipping. Nobody cares how grateful you'd be.

I'm having an extremely hard time imagining that you can't buy "brewstuff" in Germany.

Unless they were trying to brew their own Coors or Bud Ice

presumably if the OP has a recipe, the ingredients can be found here?
