Munich Dining Club dinner this Friday

Do any Toytowners go to these Munich Dining Club dinners? Anyone going to the one this Friday?

I'm not going this time, but a girlfriend of mine is going by herself this Friday, upon my recommendation. You won't be alone, or the only one that doesn't know anyone. . . that's the point actually. Have fun!

Maybe the dinner was already booked up by the time your club registration was sorted out. I wouldnt worry about it anyway - I joined up ages ago and Ive never had an invite.

I just recently signed up, and received an email from James not long after.

Unfortunately, I have procrastinated and it seems Friday is all booked up according the sign up page.

They have some odd age restrictions. Check that you fit them before you register...

Ouch you mean I might be too old??? In that case perhaps some of us should start an older diner's club and that way we could go at 5pm and catch the early bird dinner specials

LOL! Maybe those of us that didn't make the cut, should have an impromptu on Friday night! Do they give discounts for seniors?

Well maybe if we're lucky we can get into one of the department store "cafeterias" down in the basement.

Anybody else going to the next Munich Dining Club outing? I've heard good reviews for Brenners.

I am sadly busy, but then I wouldn't wanna go with an asshole like Drivin' West now, would I? (hopefully you remember that drunken conversation??) Otherwise, I too have heard good things about the place and would have liked to have gone, but I have plans.

Sounds like a good idea, but I'm not going, since I will hit the slopes the next day, and it wouldn't be a good idea to do that with a hangover...

I would be up for a return trip to Brenners. I did steak this trip which was very good; however the Pasta looked great as well.

Would you guys be up for a trip there next Friday? I am not for sure if they give Senior discounts, they also had great Italian red wine; I hear it's good for the circulation.

Michnic: Perhaps your junk mail filters are filtering the emails out? I have recieved heaps of invites, only joined up about 2-3 weeks ago. They all go straight to my junk filter though and I find them in there. Hope that helps.
