The notorious German biker gang and organised criminal organisation the Bandidos was the target of a nationwide police operation which caught 15 suspected drug-dealers and smugglers.
Raids across Germany in recent weeks have resulted in the arrest of several suspected members of the gang, and the confiscation of over a hundred kilos of cocaine, marijuana, hash, amphetamines and thousands of Ecstasy tablets.
Investigators searched around 50 apartments and houses in northern Germany and Rhineland-Palatinate, as well as a Bandidos club house.
Miriam Cruchter, an investigator at the Customs Criminal Investigation Office told the news magazine Focus, "We have started to notice more and more Bandidos members are drug couriers and dealers. We will have to keep closer tabs on them."

Comment: What the?? " a nationwide police operation which caught 15 suspected drug-dealers and smugglers" ONLY 15? that was a waste of man power & money to catch just 15 losers in a nationwide operation. Ridiculous!
And this statement by Miriam Cruchter, an investigator at the Customs Criminal Investigation Office, "We have started to notice more and more Bandidos members are drug couriers and dealers. We will have to keep closer tabs on them." UH, what kind of investigators are these that they just "started" to notice criminal activities from these gangs?? What did they think these bikers were doing, baking cookies?!
Holy Cow!, I'm afraid this article is going to make people run out and get their own guns for protection, for it seems the police across Germany haven't even figured out that most gangs are full of murders, rapists, drug dealers, pimps, and hired hit men! Makes you wonder what else they HAVEN'T noticed?

If you find a member of the Bandido's in Sweden or denmark who is not a drug dealer, highlight that. It will be a first.
The fact they arrested only 15 bikers, implies that the police have not been doing there job. The num,ber should have been more like 1500 or 3000.
There really needs to be more European integration of police intelligence. If there was, then they could co-ordinate across the entire continent and remove this problem.

@joyfulcalm That is all that the police could spare manpower for whether it was for the arrest or surveillance. The ones that the police arrested were/are the dumbest and they were the ones that wear the label "Prospect" above the clubs colors on their jacket. The ones that were arrested were probably the low level guys that are try to get their patch. I will bet there were probably no arrests of the patched members if there were I be amazed/surprised.
As quoted from the article
" Miriam Cruchter, an investigator at the Customs Criminal Investigation Office told the news magazine Focus, "We have started to notice more and more Bandidos members are drug couriers and dealers. We will have to keep closer tabs on them." "
The police are just noticing this behavior, that is because they are eight to ten years behind the times in whats happening on the strasse/street.
As quoted from the article
" The Bandidos are embroiled in a European-wide rivalry with the Hells Angels, another biker gang suspected of organised crime activities, that has often descended into violence. "
The biker gang "Hells Angles" are only suspected, are we kidding. No the police are not eight to ten years behind the times they are at least twenty years if not more...
As quoted from the article
" Raids across Germany in recent weeks have resulted in the arrest of several suspected members of the gang, and the confiscation of over a hundred kilos of cocaine, marijuana, hash, amphetamines and thousands of Ecstasy tablets."
And no guns, Oh please....
As quoted from the article
" A 32-year-old man was killed in a shoot-out at a Bandidos bar in Duisburg in North Rhine-Westphalia earlier this month, and in August a member of a biker gang was shot and killed in Berlin’s Hohenschönhausen district."
What was the dead biker killed with, kisses, back-slaps & handshakes. Get real... dam, now I know why the bikers are carrying around those straws, that is their weapon of choice, the person was killed with a pea shooter.
Way to go police - really showing that you have your thumb on the pulse of what is happening on the strasse/street.

....the problem with taking drugs out of the system is that they get harder to find and more expensive to purchase....and dealers are more aggressive in protecting a patch....and so on and so on...

I live next door to one of these guys, should I be scared?
Seriously, he rides a motorcycle (he owns two actually), wears a leather jacket that says "Bandidos" on it, and has a Bandidos sticker on his door. He also told us once that he hates our other neighbor and that the other guy is lucky he never sees him in public cos he'd "fuck him up" or something to that effect.
Still, we've been neighbors for three years and we haven't had any drive-by shootings yet.
edit: aw, never mind, all they are is dope dealers? When they start snatching handbags off little old ladies then I'll be scared.
