Friends in Göttingen?

Hi, my fiance and I are moving to Göttingen in January 2010 from Australia and would like to meet some english-speaking friends there. We will be there for a couple of years at least, and would like to meet similar people who are interested in socialising occassionally. I understand it is a university town and there are many international students there, but we in our 30's and so a little old for that crowd!
