Looking for DIY stores in Stuttgart

Hi Good People of Stuttgart,

Does anyone know where i can find a DIY store here? I'm looking for a sanding machine to rent and some paint to buy! Can anyone help.

Any Baumarkt. I have rented sanders from a place in Kornwestheim called Globus. Some of them speak English if you do not speak German.

For the paint you can try OBI or Toom. Either of them are good stores to buy paint. They are relatively similar in price and can be found anywhere in the Stuttgart area. We bought our paint from OBI. They will allow you to return the paint IF it hasn't been opened or it hasn't been tinted. You'll need your receipt too. You can buy the paint in increments of 1 Liter, 2 Liter, 5 Liter and 10 Liter. I like the 5 Liter can because it's easiter to manage than the 10 liter can.
