Hello,
So i have moved to germany with my wife but our marriage fell apart. we were married in australia, only since january. came to germany in february
i just need to find out what happens to my visa if/when we get a divorce.
I am unemployed and was hoping there might be some free legal advice that i could get from someone? (your advice on this forum is very welcome but i would also like to talk to a professional if possible)
thanks in advance

You need to go to your local court (with proof you are unemployed) and ask for a Beratungshilfetermin. They will give you a paper with a date and set time e.g. 8.30 - 13.00 this is first come first served so get there when it opens. Then explain your situation to the nice lady or man and they will grant you permission to see a lawyer free of charge, or not. Depends on the situation. Then with the paper they give you, you can go and see a lawyer who you pay 10€ to for the consultation.
Good luck
