T-mobile outage affecting NRW customers

My wife and I noticed yesterday we could not reach each other when calling our cellphones either from landline or from the cellphone.
We did some testing and and found we could call out to landlines(Festnets) and other cell providers i.e Vodaphone etc.
We tried to call customer support but gave up after waiting on hold. Checked again this morning and still had the same problem. Called support and they confirmed they were were having a major outage affecting all of NRW since yesterday but many areas were now back online. She said our area should be restored in the next few hours and gave us a [font="Times New Roman">[size="3">€10 for each of our 3 lines.[/font]

My company mobile is T-mobile......not encountered any problems here in Cologne, in fact even got the usual sickies phoning in this morning
