I'm not Canadian, but it sounds like "How's it going?" to me. But with a strange Canadian accent of course!

I'm not sure I would have figured it out myself, but Allershausen has probably got it right. When I put on my heavy, McKenzie brother Canadian accent, "How's it going?" easily sounds like "Has gone".
To all non-Canadians. Please keep in mind that "How's it going" is not actually a question. The appropriate response is either "fine", "good" or possibly even "great". Anything else, particularly anything requiring any kind of further explanation, is greatly discouraged.

Same here. That's definitely what he heard. I talk like that all the time.

In stead of saying "hello" to him, the locals apparently greeted him by saying something which sounded (to his German ears) like "has gone".
real Canadian tend to slur words and drop endings off their words, so How is it going? becomes howsigoin, eh?

My question is, if 300000 seals go to Berghain nightclub with cameras will they all get chucked out and the cameras confiscated?
