I love the Smith, very funny lyrics and very camp. I have no sexual orientation problems though, so I do not dislike someone if their sexual orientation differs from mine.

Little more difficult boys and girls...
..This is telecommunication, Telecommunication...
...I hear your footsteps in the street, It won't be long before we meet, It's obvious...
...Living on the ceiling...
...I want candy, I want candy...
...That you give me no reason, Why you're making me work so hard, That you give me no, That you give me no...
..Boy meets girl..
..tongue tied, does'nt seem a minute, since the tyrolean spar had a ch...
...Pretty in pink, Isn't she...
...Gonna use my arms, Gonna use my legs, Gonna use my style...
...What you gonna do when you get out of jail? I'm gonna have some fun, What do you consider fun?...
...I've got your picture, I've got your picture, I'd like a million of you over myself...
Big prize for these, no googling though, I will know...

Those are two songs and a half! 100% class both of them.
And Topsy there is almost no song more Yorkshire than "Living on the Ceiling",
"oop and down I turn around I'm oop the bloody tree"The song with "tongue tied" - it isn't Kajagoogoo is it? "Too shy"? Just the "tongue tied" bit, can't remember owt Tyrolean in it though.

I was far too cool to listen to that kind of stuff in the 80's, what with me spikey hair and me purple blusher

Here you goI love their cover of ABBA's "Day before you came" (which is also probably my favourite ABBA song but that changes regularly).
"God's Kitchen" is also a cracking track.

Ach schplendid. 80's night. I'm there.
Casting my mind back to my mid to late Eighties wardrobe I have some horrific memories of ripped jeans, basketball boots, a denim jacket (with the sleeves ripped off) with a "Live to Ride" patch on the back worn proudly over a leather jacket. There's also a vague recollection of a waistcoat and thin leather tie which may or may not have had piano keys on it. Them were scary days. Thank Christ there are no photos in existance.

I do not know anybody nor have I ever known anybody who ever had a hair cut like that.
I also do not know anybody who had short hair and a "forgotten" plait.
I'm so glad that I was spared these sights.

Oh really? So this isn't familiar at all then? So those photos were faked?

This was more like my 'do(n't) - tippex highlights, scrunch-dried with a knackered gone-wrong perm topped off with a scrunchie. Classy.

H&M have ra-ra skirts in girls - don't all rush at once...
