80's Night at Twisted Bavarian

You all remember the 80's, When Plastic clothing was hip with everyone, When Piano leather ties were in, when Legwarmers and headbands looked cool and when we all wore those charm bracelets with tons of clunky charms? And buttons and badges on your jackets? You Loved it when a plan came together and cried when Charlene married Jason. When Starbursts were Opal Fruits and Snickers were marathons. The list is endless.

Well newsflash for you the 80's never died...

'IT JUST GREW A MULLET AND MOVED TO GERMANY!!'

So get all of the above out of your closets and get yourselves down to the Twisted Bavaria on the 7th May and lets party like its 1985.

Dress Code - 80's style clothes is not compulsary but is strongly recommended. A prize will be given for the best 80's style outfit. School uniforms, outfits from Fame or come as your favourite member of the Red Hand Gang.

Price - 5€ (with a free shot at the door + raffle ticket).

Raffle - Draw during the night which includes a range of items that typify the 80's.

Atari Play Off - Pit your skills against everyone on the space invaders hooked up in the back room. Highest score on the night wins a prize.

Song Competitions - Guess the song, or film connected to a song to get Spot prizes on the night including free shots and 10cent mix-ups...yes you heard it here first, 10cent mix ups, with 10 sweets, no more, no less.

I recognize that from Fight For Your Right by Beastie Boys... Was that the 80s or am I just too young to know it was from another song originally?

Edit: Just checked, and Best Buy's website has the CD with that song (License to Ill) as coming out in 1995, but Paul's Boutique as a 1989 release. Is this accurate?
