Any activities for small children? - Munich

summer is over and these coming cold wintry days really are boring. anyone knows any activities for small children.. 3 yr olds? please list

In the next week or so, the Winterspielplatz near Sendlinger will open. I believe that children three and under can play there for a small donation!

Playing with things they shouldn't is always high on their little lists.

too bad there are no children's museums or science centers. There is one "children's museum" near the Hauptbahnhof, but it is small and not really great. It is for much older kids, 8 and up

Deutsches Museum has plenty of stuff prepared for kids in all ages. Check out also their branch with vehicles near Theresienwiese (our boy's absolute favorite!) and the one with airplanes in Oberschleissheim.

Other tips:
- sledging (in a few weeks ) in Hocheck - very nice and safe toboggan run (with a lift and sledge rental).
