Identify this Irish woman in Munich

Do you know her? I think I knew her sister

This might be a strange post - but I'll give it a try.

I recently stayed at the Sheraton Hotel on Schwanthalerstrasse in Munich during a city break.
Myself and my wife decided to travel in to Central Munich.
To do so we walked through Kurt Haertel Passage to Hackerbrucke station.

Myself and my wife were chatting when an Irish girl started to chat to us.
Immediately the girl said that she was from Dublin and had lived in Munich for years.
I got the impression that she worked somewhere in and around Grasserstrasse.
Unfortunately this girl only stayed on the train for a couple of stops before she got off the train.

I could swear that I was friends (in a platonic way) with this girls sister back in Dublin over 25 years ago.
I have not lived in Dublin for many years.
But I would love to know if I'm right about this girl because I could swear that it was her.

Does anyone here know this girl? She is originally from Whitehall Road, Dublin 12 in Ireland.
I don't want to print here name her without her consent - but if someone here does know this girl, I'd be grateful if
you could let me know if we're talking about the same person (by sending me a private message).

Thanks for your help!

- that´s not what your profile says!

I was born and reared in Dublin - and I work in Dublin City Centre but I actually live just outside Dublin.
I live in a place called Leixlip which is on the Dublin/Kildare border.
robinson100
- then why list yourself as being "in Dublin"?
Leixlip sounds far more interesting!

There you are:

Leixlip is a nice place, i suppose.

Leixlip is basically a suburb of Dublin City.
Part of Leixlip is in County Kildare and the other part of Leixlip is in County Dublin.

Many of us Irish are proud of our roots and that's why I have listed my location as Dublin
(as I live in the Dublin part of Leixlip!).

This is getting quite educational Muller, thanks!
Sorry, but I haven´t seen the lady in question.............
Muller
Thanks.

Maybe you could describe the lady in question - it might jog somebody´s memory........?
Muller
In appearance, she's about 5'6" (167cm) in height, brunette, thin, pretty.
Obviously being Irish, she has an Irish accent.
She's married and I think she said that she had two children.

I think she mentioned that she worked somewhere close to Kurt Haertel Passage and/or Grasserstrasse.

Chances are it was someone from the EPO (entrance is directly on the passage) but your description could match any number of women. Not exactly a lot to work on. If you know her name, send me a PM - maybe I know her!

I have never heard of the Dublin part of Leixlip...was it part of the area known as 'the Pale'?
