Regensburg Thanksgiving Dinner

Turkey, football, and beer.

perdido
Mike the owner of Murphy's Law Irish pub in Regensburg has approached a few of the local Amis in hosting a Thanksgiving day dinner meet up there. Mike says Turkey, cranberry sauce can be provided he would just need a list of the things we woud like to be served. Also we are also trying to decide if we would rather have it on a Thursday as tradition or a Sunday since most have to work on a Friday. For the fellas American football will be shown so those who actually support the Lions(giggle) or the Cowboys you will not miss out. Now the cost is known yet because it depends on what people want. I do not expect more than €10 euros for the dinner though because this is one of those it is for the ex-patriots type of thing. I cannot guarantee that, but Mike has said he is not interested in making a profit because it is a holliday and like I said it is for the expats. All nationalities are welcome. In fact we have three amis confirmed and two brits as well. So let me know or post here if you are interested .

Despite what I said about the food I do not believe there will be any drink specials but a Helles for about €2.60 is pretty good, and Kneitinger goes for about €2.70 so that is not bad.

This sounds great. I'm in. Thursday seems better to me for sentimental reasons, but Sunday would be fine, too.

What about pumpkin pie?!
