Powder Ski or snowboard anyone? - Munich

Hello Ladies & Gents,

I don't know anyone else in the Munich area who likes to go powder skiing/boarding. Is there anyone out there?

I know plenty of places to go and quite a few routes, but am often stranded without suitable buddies to go with, that could be required to dig if required!

Weekends, maybe holiday or even bunk the odd day off work after a dump... anyone interested?

I started a Facebook group called Munich Powder Monkeys incase anyone is - makes it easier to organise etc.. I guess.
Hopefully it can be found and joined without problem.

I'm a complete newbie in snowboarding (as in, I've never been on a board before) but I really want to start in a few weeks or so (was thinking hintertux or another glacier, because the resorts near Munich seem snowless for the moment). So I don't know if I fit into your description but at least we could share a ride to the snowy places.

I can dig, not that I like to. I am mostly into free-riding but I have been known to rip a few kickers. Been boarding for about 14yrs, not as much as I like but that will be changing this winter. Send me a message if you want to go out. I would love to learn your routes. I do not have a car but I am certain something can be arranged.
