I'm a middle aged engineer, clean, quiet and well organized. I just moved here and I'm taking an intensive German class in Nuremberg but my goal is to find work and stay in Nuremberg for several years. I'm applying for electrical engineering jobs weekly, and have had two interviews in Nuremberg, but no offers yet. I think it will be easier to find a job once my German improves (I've had rejection letters that say "Your skills are perfect but we require better German skills..."). So anyway, I'm staying with a friend at the moment, and I have references to attest to my character and cleanliness. I'll pay cash upfront, no games with that. And I'm happy to login to my bank account and show you I'm well funded, even though I'm not employed. All I really need is my own room (small is fine) and access to a bathroom and kitchen and internet access. I don't own much at the moment, just a few bags and a bike. I'm pretty flexible... I'm in class 20 hours a week, and I have friends all over (Nuremberg, Munich, Berlin, Hanover, Frankfurt) so I would probably only be there 1/2 the weekends or less, in fact, if you wanted to put it in the contract that I am gone 1/2 or 3/4 of the weekends we could totally do that. For now I'm looking for a place for the next approximately 4 months, just to make it through the German class until I find work. Once I sign a contract, then I would be more comfortable spending the money for provision/caution/kitchen etc to get my own place. I'm good with pets... I love dogs, and don't mind cats.
