My dear departed sister had a great rum cake recipe and took it with her, rest her soul... I've been trying to duplicate that tasty experience but haven't been successful. Anyone out there have anything that can be shared?
Thanks!

The recipe looks scrumma-lumma-licious, which is why I pointed to that one, and that one alone.

If you go to allrecipes.com they have a area titled Recipe Exchange. Its a forum area and people are really great about giving excellent input.
I have some recipes but only from my cookbook collection. I may have a copy of my french grandmother's baby au rum?

Woodridge, thanks for that suggestion. I'll try K's scrumma-lumma-licious pick and see what I can find in the forum as well. My sister had a reputation for making the best rum cake around town and folks would order cakes from her during the holidays. She once wrote it down for me but I can't find it after moving several times over the years

Made a cake on Saturday using the recipe linked to above, and it is stunningly delicious - worked a treat.

Ok, i'm sold. Hopefully I can gather all the ingredients at Kaufland and Konsum to give it a whirl. I'll let you know how it goes.
