Restaurants in small towns in Stuttgart area

Need your suggestions for some new places to try, would prefer those open all day-(some close between 2-5pm)? Many thanks!

This should keep you busy for while but you could also join the Wednesday group, they go to a new restaurant every week.

Just for your information, the places mentioned above message are amongst the most expensive restaurants in Stuttgart (Cube and Speisemeisterei). So maybe your price range is also important, and also what type of restaurant you're looking for - there are LOADS.

If you get the Gutscheinbuch (available in bookshops) for area Stuttgart you get the cheapest dinner free (so good if you have a partner or so) - it's a book full of vouchers and lists a lot of restaurants that participate in the scheme. I used to use this a lot with my ex girlfriend.

This place has great beer and menu with both swabian and bavarian choices. Friendly staff and they also have a menu in english.

It is in the middle part of town. I believe there was a church nearby with a gothic looking steeple. I will get more details on next visit.
