Licensed US attorney for German immigration issues

Need for such legal services in Munich?

Quick question for the Americans (as well as anyone who may need help with American consular issues). My wife is from Munich and she wants to relocate back now that she is finished with her education in the US. Obviously, the possibility of work is limited in Germany right now. Therefore, I am thinking of all options...

My question is: Would the resident Americans or those with issues regarding American immigration (Consular Representation) have a need for an attorney from time to time. I am a licensed attorney and noticed that there was a lack of representation abroad, particularly in areas such as Munich with large American residents. Basically general, broad practice focused in individual needs rather than corporate. Anyway, just testing the waters. Thanks...

I meant "large amount of American residents", not "large American residents"... talk about playing into the stereotype... laugh.gif

My friend applied for a fiancee visa at the Frankfurt consulate says most German people just fill out their own visa forms and hardly ever use lawyers.

Do they even accept visas in Munich? I think it's just Frankfurt and Berlin.
