Review of the Oktoberfest 2009

Here's a short review of this years visit to the Oktoberfest. It was a great party! On wednesday evening my friend and me drove leaving from Holland at five PM from Eindhoven, and arriving around 12 at night at my friends house in Munchen.

Thursday we first went to Marienplatz, my friend never was in Munich before so we looked around for a bit, and had our first beers at the Viktualienmarkt. First half a liter of biological weisbier together with a weisswurst, followed by a mass of helles.

Then we went to the Wiesn and joined some austrian friends at the Schottenhamel tent. After that we checked out the Hippodrome and partied with a few Americans. Suddenly the alcohol hit us and we felt the urge to take a nap outside on the hill. Luckily we weren't robbed when we woke up, and deciced to leave the Oktoberfest grounds and took the u-bahn to Ostbahnhof and we walked to the Kunstpark Ost/ Kultfabrik. There we had more drinks at Nachtkantine before we spent the remaining of the evening in the New York Lap Dance bar.

On friday we basically spent the whole day in the Hofbrauhaus tent, which was great, in the afternoon we had company of some gorgeous women in dirndl. And during the evening we were laughing and dancing a lot with a bunch of funny Italians who were calling all passing ladies to our table: "fraulein, fraulein, bitte!"

Normally saturdays I never visit the Wiesn so this time we also decided to go to the Hofbrauhaus in the centre (Hofbrauhaus am Platzl). We spent some great hours there, then went to the Wiesn'anyways where it over course was overcrowded and all the tents were closed. But we were lucky, a fellow dutchman approached us at the HB tent if we were interested in purchasing two wrist bands for entrance, so we spent 25 euros for two of these, and entered smoothly thru the back entrance. The atmosfere was super, and we danced the whole evening singing along with all the popular songs. So a great finish after three nights of drinking!

Sunday we slept late and drove back to Holland.

You mean you are from Holland and you came here? Wow. Why leave Holland you have weed, hot women, decent beer, and nobody gives a shit what you do. I swear today's youth.

Have you seen the beers they serve in Holland? Two mouthfuls and they're gone! Plus, if you come to the Oktoberfest you can have some fun and in my experience the Dutch are very much into having fun!

The two girls were sisters actually, and the right one was not that bad as well, although she lacked some volume After one mass they started to kiss each other, that was a very enjoyable sight.

What a strange question, like the Dutch should always remain in Holland?? We don't have parties like the Oktoberfest! And yes, the glasses in Holland are so small I always wondered were my beer has gone...

Wow!! More updates.....this just gets zanier and crazier by the minute. Lesbian sisters!!! I am hanging on the edge of my seat for the next update....

They were his sisters. He lost one during the fest but found her a day later. Turns out she had found the local Dutch air base and all is well.
