Swastika carved next to President Obama's name
Wondering has anyone seen this? Seems quite disturbing for the cadre of President Obama.

Maybe it's not a symbol of hate at all, maybe it's a symbol of love. It's the wrong way round for a Nazi Swastika and could therefore be an Indian religious symbol. There again the vandals could just be stupid. I know which one I'd plump for!

This happened at Massachusetts. So, I guess whoever has carved that knew nothing about the religious symbol from India (an age-old symbol, which is still used in India, on festivals and other important occasions).

Why would you assume that. Harvard is in Massive chew sets, as are several other universities, I'm sure some people would know about it.

I would hve presumed it to be the religious symbol. However, the Swastika on the golf course is the mirror image of the religious symbol in India.

What does that MEAN, anyway? "I [Swastika/Indian religious symbol] Obama"? Like "I [heart] Obama", only meaning "I Nazi Obama?" Can I buy a verb???

Allershausen, I don't think the perps were guys from Haaavaaad or MIT having a laugh.

During the anti-healthcare demonstrations there were lots of protesters calling Obama a Nazi and/or a communist (presumably depending on which word came to mind first). I'm amazed that a minor act of vandalism by some drunk, brainwashed kids should become an international news story.

Having studied at MIT, CINZIA, get a life.

P.S. Want to know where to send (let go to) your kid? BOSTON is the friendliest, nicest, (yeah I know), place in the States.
